Orders for attention:

1.Please note the name, specifications/models and performance parameters (air volume, air pressure, power and rotating speed) of fans in the ordering process;
2.The voltage of ventilators in this sample is generally 220V and 380V. Please give clear indication in the ordering process when you have special requirements.
3.Note whether fans are equipped with electric control boxes, flanges (round flanges), speed reducers (suspended or floor type), rainproof shutters, elbows, insect-proof nets, soft joints, silencers, silencing boxes and other accessories;
4.Provide the installation positions, service environment characteristics, service frequency and other kinds of information of fans, so our company can provide more reasonable and optimized supporting products;
5.Please note the positions of air inlets and outlets as well as the built-in or external conditions of motors on cabinet fans (fan boxes);
6.Please note transmission modes, rotation directions and exit angles of centrifugal fans in the ordering process as well as whether speed reducers and vibration reduction pedestals (which should be generally arranged in C type, D type and E type) are provided or not;
7.Abbreviated drawings must be supplied to silencing static pressure boxes. Normally opening or normally closing and actually required functions must be noted on fireproof valves and multi-blade air supply outlets. Blade shapes or functions must be noted on shutter air openings;
8.The dimensions of air opening flanges of fans and valve products are designed according to air pipes of galvanized plates. Please note special requirements on joint flanges if air pipes made of glass fibers and magnesium and other composite materials are used;
9.Our company is constantly devoted to improvement and optimization of products. Specifications, parameters and dimensions of products in samples are changed without notice.

Fan instructions:

(1)Special attention items

Fan shells or motor shells must be grounded reliably. Ultra-rated current operation and phase-deficient operation are prohibited.

(2)Receiving inspection and fan installation preparation

1.Check whether the packaging is complete or not before fans are unpacked, the nameplate parameters of fans meet the requirements or not, and all the accessories together with fans are integrated and complete or not.
2.Check carefully whether fans are deformed or damaged or not during transportation, fasteners are loosened or fallen or not, and impellers are worn and collided or not; and check all the parts of fans. Please use fans after repair if abnormal phenomena are found.
3.Measure the insulation resistance between fan shells and motor coils by a 500V megohmmeter, which should be more than 0.5 megohm, otherwise dry motor coils at the temperature of no more than 120℃.
4.Prepare various required materials, tools and sites required by fan installation.

(3)Fan installed

1.Know well the samples of fans comprehensively, as well as the specifications, models, impeller rotation directions, airflow in-out directions and so on of fans; before fan installation, check whether impellers are worn or collided or not, and comprehensively check all the parts, whether accessories are integrated or not and all the parts are connected firmly or not. Check carefully whether blades are damaged or deformed during transportation or not, otherwise fans should be installed after repair.
2.Air pipes connecting inlets and outlets of fans should be supported individually, and the weight of pipes is not allowed to be added onto parts of fans; please take notice of the horizontal positions of fans during installation, and adjust the connection of the combination surfaces between fans and the ground to air pipes to ensure natural coincidence, which cannot be connected forcibly.
3.After fan installation, pull impellers by hands or levers to check whether there are over-tight or collision phenomena, articles obstructing rotation and abnormal phenomena or not, and then carry out test run. The exposed parts of fan transmission devices should be equipped with protective covers (provided by users). If inlets and outlets of fans are not connected with pipes, protective nets or other safety devices (provided by users) should also be added.
4.Fans must be wired correctly and reliably. Fan shells should be grounded properly and must be grounded reliably. Power supplies for fans must be correct and meet relevant requirements. Fans must be wired by electricians with professional knowledge.
5.After the total installation of fans, check whether tools and sundries are left inside fans or not.

Fan debugging:

1.Fans are allowed to started at full voltage or reduced voltage; however, please take notice that the current in the full voltage starting process should be about 5-7 times of the rated current, and the torque in the reduced voltage starting process should be directly proportional to the square of voltage. Please use reduced voltage starting when the capacity of the power grid is insufficient. (The reduced voltage starting should be used when the power is more than 11kW.)
2.During test run of fans, please read the product manual carefully to check whether the wring method accords with the wiring diagram or not; please check carefully whether the working voltage of power supplies of supply fans meets the requirements or not, default phase or the same phase exists in the power supplies or not, and the capacity of the matched electrical elements meets the requirements or not.
3.During test run, at least two persons are necessary; one person controls power supplies, and another person observes the operating conditions of fans. Carry out shutdown inspection immediately when abnormal phenomena are found; firstly, check whether the rotation direction is correct or not; after fan operation, check immediately whether the operating current of all the phases is balanced or not and the current surpasses the rated current or not; please carry out shutdown inspection if abnormal phenomena exist. After five minutes of operation, stop to check whether abnormal phenomena exist in the fans, and start to operate after abnormal phenomena do not exit definitely.
4.During test run of double-speed fans, please start the fans at low speed first, and check whether the rotation direction is correct or not; in the high-speed starting process, fans must be started after being still to prevent high-speed reverse rotation which will cause switch trip and motor damages.
5.When fans reach the normal rotating speed, please measure whether the input current of fans is normal or not. The operating current of fans cannot surpass the rated current. If the operating current surpasses the rated current, please check whether the supplied voltage is normal or not.
6.Motor power required by fans means higher power required by centrifugal fans and fan boxes under a certain working conditions when air inlets are opened totally. There will be a risk of damaging motors if air inlets are opened totally for operation. It’s better to close valves on entrance or exit pipes of fans during test run. Valves are gradually opened after operation until the required working condition is reached. Moreover, notice whether the operating current of fans surpasses the rated current or not.

Fan maintenance and storage:

1.The service environment should be often kept tidy and clean. The surfaces of fans should be kept clean. Sundries cannot be placed at air inlets and outlets. Clean dusty sundries in fans and pipes at regular intervals.
2.Fans can only be operated under absolutely normal conditions. Meanwhile, sufficient capacity and stable voltage of power supply facilities should be ensured. Phase-deficient operation is prohibited. Power supply circuits must be special circuits. Temporary circuits cannot be used for power supply for a long term.
3.Fans should be stopped for inspection immediately when abnormal sound, server motor heat emission, shell electrification, switch trip, incapable starting and other phenomena are discovered during operation. Fans are not allowed to be maintained during operation, to ensure the safety. Fans should be subjected to test run for about five minutes after overhauling, and started to operate when abnormal phenomena are definitely eliminated.
4.Fans should be stored in a dry environment to prevent motors from damping. There should be rain-proof measures for fans during outdoor storage. Fans should be prevented from colliding during storage and transportation to prevent fans from being damaged.

Fan maintenance instructions:

(1)Fan maintenance instructions

1.Fans must be used and maintained by specially-assigned persons.
2.Fans are not allowed to operate under failure.
3.Remove dust inside fans, particularly dust, dirt and other impurities on impellers, at regular intervals to prevent rusting and imbalance.
4.Fans must be maintained under the conditions of power outage and shutdown.
5.Check the sensitivity of thermometers and oil pointers at regular intervals.

(2)The main fan failure and the reasons

1.Bearing boxes vibrate dramatically
①Fan shafts and motor shafts are misaligned; couplings are mounted obliquely.
②Shells or air inlets and impellers are rubbed with each other.
③The fundamental steel level is loose.
④Impeller rivets are loosen or impellers deform.
⑤Impeller shaft plates and shafts are loosen, or coupling bolts are loosen.
⑥Connection bolts between shells and supports, bearing boxes and supports, bearing boxes and seats and other parts are loosen.
⑦Gas inflow/outflow pipes of fans are mounted improperly.
⑧Rotors are imbalanced, which causes the abrasion of fan blades.

2.The temperature of bearings rises excessively.
①Bearing boxes vibrates dramatically.
②Lubricating grease is bad in quality, goes bad, and contains excessive dust, adhesive sand, dirt and other impurities.
③Connection bolts of bearing box covers and seats are tightened too tightly or too loosely.
④Shafts and rolling bearings are mounted obliquely; front and rear bearings are misaligned.
⑤Rolling bearings are damaged.

3.Electrode current or temperature rise is excessively high.
①Gates or throttle valves of air inflow pipes are not closed tightly in the driving process.
②Flow exceeds the specified value
③The density of the fan conveying gas is too large or viscous material
④Motor input voltage is too low or power single-phase power
⑤Coupling connection is not correct, apron tight or uneven gap
⑥Affected by the violent vibration of bearing housing

Fan daily maintenance and repair:

1.Blade every six months to be regularly cleaned to extend fan life;
2.Belt every three months to regularly adjust the tightness;
3.Fan inlet net mouth to be kept open;
4.Outlets to ensure louvers open more than 70%;
5.Continuous use of time can be long-term operation;
6.Blower switch is best to use the magnetic button switch to prevent poor contact burning the motor;
7.Fan motor should pay attention to water and keep clean.
